Clean Water is a Right: Families in Cabañas Benefit from Filters
At CIS, we believe that access to clean and safe water is a fundamental right. This month, we accompanied 22 families in the department of Cabañas in the delivery of water filters that will help improve their health and quality of life.

The activity was not only about handing over the filters, but also about creating a space for training and community awareness. Our CIS Scholarship Program students led a session with families on hygiene habits, as well as explained the necessary steps for the proper use and maintenance of the filters. These practices are essential to ensure the sustainability of the project and to make the most of this resource.
The active participation of our scholarship students reflects CIS’s commitment to building socially conscious leaders who can share their knowledge and multiply the impact in their communities.
Through this initiative, we not only aim to improve families’ health by reducing diseases caused by contaminated water, but also to strengthen community bonds and promote solidarity across generations.
“Thanks to CIS, my family and I will be healthy with filtered water. We are grateful, and may God bless you.”
