Guidelines - Online Spanish Classes

Before Classes Begin

1. Each student interested in taking Spanish classes online must complete the application form. This form includes general information on the student, as well as her/his proposed class schedule and topics of interest. The applicant must submit this form at least two weeks before the proposed first class is to take place.

2. Before beginning classes, each student must complete a written test online. This will allow the teacher to get a sense of the student’s level of Spanish.

3. The first hour of the first class will be used to complete an oral test, which will be used to supplement the results of the written exam2.

4. The schedule requested by the student must be approved by the teacher in charge of the class. Approval or any proposed changes will be communicated to the student by the person in charge of promotion, at least a week before the first class is to take place.

5. Payment for classes is due a week before the first class takes place, and should be made for at least a two-week period.

Class Schedule

6. As mentioned above, class schedules must be approved by the teacher one week before classes begin so that the teacher has enough time to plan classes.

7. The reference time for classes is Salvadoran time.

8. If the class does not begin on time or is interrupted lost class time will be recovered either beyond the scheduled time or be rescheduled to a mutually convenient time.

Payment

9. The student must pay for the classes in advance. The cost of each 2-hour class is US$30.00 ($15.00 per hour).
