Bringing Music to Life: CIS and St. Elizabeth Donate Instruments to Students in Tonacatepeque
At CIS, we believe that music has the power to open minds, strengthen communities, and inspire dreams.
CIS and our friends from St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Kansas City delivered a new set of musical instruments to the students at the school in Cantón Las Flores, Tonacatepeque.
The donation included baritones, trumpets, a saxophone, cymbals, and drums — tools that will help students explore their creativity, develop new skills, and build confidence through the arts. For many of these youth, access to musical education is limited. These instruments represent more than equipment; they represent opportunity, expression, and hope.
Teachers and students welcomed the donation with enthusiasm, excited to strengthen their school band and expand musical learning for the youth. Through these initiatives, CIS continues to support educational spaces where young people can grow not only academically but also artistically.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to St. Elizabeth Catholic Church for their ongoing support and commitment to the development of Salvadoran communities. Together, we continue to make a difference — one note at a time
